Book Week

This week we all enjoyed different themed books. Nursery choose dinosaurs! We read 'Harry and the bucketful of dinosaurs' and then enjoyed lots of dinosaur activities. We used brushed in the sand to search for dinosaur fossils. Our play tray turned into a dino world were the children could count the dinosaurs into their buckets. 

Our second book was animal themed so we choose 'The tiger who came to tea'. After reading the story we made our own party food list. We the decorated some buns using colourful icing and sprinkles. In the afternoon we enjoyed a tea party and a tiger came to visit us!

Our themed week this term is "Around the World". Each class will be learning and exploring a different country and their culture. The work they do will be on display for all parents to see on Friday 19th October.
