At Netherton Infant School our aim is to provide a curriculum that meets the needs of our children, taking into account their backgrounds, their life experiences and their aspirations. We want to provide a curriculum which inspires, challenges and allows them to immerse themselves in their learning. Our children are given the freedom to follow their interests, alongside the planned 'topics' and the provision we provide ensures they are doing whilst learning new skills. When children have a thirst for knowledge, we are there to help them develop the skills they need to research, investigate, record, process, evaluate. They are developing and embedding these skills within a meaningful context, a context that means something to them.
