Percy Kelly Project
We were invited to the Settlement in Maryport to look at the Percy Kelly pictures on display. We also had the opportunity to draw on plates in the same way Percy Kelly once did. As we walked around the exhibition we found our letters and read some from others schools. We had a fantastic time!
Our Percy Kelly style letters to an unexpected friend are finished. Some have been displayed in the exhibition at the Settlement and some have been sent out to people in our local community.
We are doing a collaborative project with Maryport Settlement and other Schools to celebrate Percy Kelly and Norman Nicholson's friendship. We will be writing letters and painting in the style of Percy Kelly which will be displayed in the exhibition.
