Birthday Pictogram
This week we have been talking about our birthdays and the months of the year. We counted how many months there are and then talked about the celebrations we have in each month. The children then tried hard to write their name so we could put it on our pictogram to see which was the most popular birthday month in our class. We counted the cupcakes and we had two birthdays in June and two in November.
Number two
This week we have been looking at the number two. We watched the number blocks show and talked about what we have two of on our bodies. The children then picked two blocks from a large group and made two marks on the board.
