The Helena Thompson Museum
A Victorian Christmas
Year 1 had such an amazing day out.
We worked in small groups and were led by representatives from the Helena Thompson Museum. We explored what Christmas was like in the 1800's.
We played Victorian Christmas games and played with Victorian toys.
There were Victorian shops and we even tried on some of the clothes.
Making Christmas cards and Christmas crackers was really fun and our lunch was delicious.
Finally Santa came to say hello!
We each got a stocking that contained an apple, a orange and a candy cane.
