Were going on a bear hunt
This wee we had lots of different materials and resources and the children choose which they wanted to use to create the settings from the story. We got lots of talking from the children as they discussed their ideas.
Muddy footprints
This week we used brown paint and wellies to explore making muddy footprints like in the story 'Were going on a bear hunt'. We sang squelch squerch'' as we walked along the card. The children decided they wanted to retell the story on the play tray so they helped collect suitable materials and set it out.
Fireworks
This week we made lots of different firework pictures using shapes, paint and chalks.
