Around the world
This week was our 'Around the world' week so we have been learning all about France. We started off by finding France on the globe and looking at pictures. We then used different resources to decorate some French flags. The children helped make some French food which we had for snack. we learnt some french words and even learnt a french nursery rhyme. We looked carefully at pictures and videos of the Eiffel Tower discussing what it was made from and finding out some of its history. The children then worked together as a team to make our own version of the Eiffel tower using different sized boxes.

Autumn
This week we have been looking at Autumn. We started by looking at some autumn treasures the children had collected and talked about what they were. We then worked together to listen and follow instructions to make our Autumn jelly. Once it was ready we explored the jelly using tweezers and our hands. We got lots of discussion of the children as they talked about the texture of the jelly and how it was made.
Crummock
This week we had a school trip to Crummock. We all had lots of fun exploring the outdoors and searching the woods for natural treasures.
We have been looking at baby photos of ourselves and tried to guess who they were. We talked about how we have changed and what babies need.
